Euro Trek Ministries came about as a result of Stuart Holden's involvement over a period of seven years as the Missions Co-ordinator of the West Bridgford Baptist Church, Nottingham. At the beginning of 1997, Stuart was led to broaden his support base and Euro Trek Ministries was launched.
Euro Trek Ministries is a small, voluntary organisation, evangelical in nature and outlook. We are non-denominational and comprise a group of friends who are brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. Euro Trek is based in Nottingham, England and all its members live in that area.
Since 1990 links have been established with Independent Evangelical Baptist and Pentecostal Churches, principally in Poland, but also in Holland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Romania and Bulgaria. Euro Trek Ministries seeks to co-operate with, and encourage Bible-believing, born again Christians in churches across the denominations, particularly with a view to encouraging individuals and churches who have not always known the greater freedoms that Christians in the West have enjoyed for many years. We seek to establish good relationships and to build friendships and to learn from each other's experiences of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
